THE BIGGER PICTURE
Other than Atletico, Tottenham and Aston Villa have also been linked with a move for the England international in the past. The West London side could be forced to sell the Three Lions star despite him emerging as a key player last season as they likely need to balance the books to fall in line with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

WHAT NEXT FOR CHELSEA?
Maresca's men will play three more friendly matches against Club America, Manchester City and Real Madrid before leaving the U.S.
